Testing of lighting columns

Tests according to EN 12767 are performed in our facility in Helmond, specially designed to accommodate all kinds of lighting column and sign post configurations. The posts can be tested in a solid concrete foundation or rooted in the prescribed soil type S. Rather than testing all specific post designs, EN 12767 allows for clustering in so called product families, only the boundary designs have to be tested. This method ensures a smart combination of a limited number of crash tests accompanied by numerical simulations. Full scale crash tests are simulated for all relevant post variants. This is a fast, relatively easy and cost-effective way without compromising safety performance.

Testing of road restraint systems

With our test center in Aldenhoven (D) we are centrally positioned in Europe to ensure the utmost flexibility for a broad spectrum of road restraint system manufacturers.

We can cover all tests as described in the EN 1317 from the low containment test T1 to the very high containment test H4b, from temporary solutions to in work casted products.

A lean and very efficient working process ensures quick and cost attractive testing and assessment.

Testing of Motorcyclist Protection systems

Tests on Motorcyclist Protection systems are performed in our facility in Helmond in an indoor environment. This makes us independent of weather conditions, excellent temperature control and very accurate dummy control. Tests are performed according to the latest standards as described in the 1317-8, but if requested also according to the French and Spanish standards.

Testing of truck-mounted attenuators

In order to test the safety of truck mounted attenuators TTAI can test according to the US requirements described in the NCHRP report 350.
